Het Londense Black Doldrums werd opgericht door Kevin Gibbard (zang en gitaar) en Sophie Landers (drums en zang). Voor hun debuutalbum 'Dead Awake' tekende de band bij Fuzz Club Records en riepen ze er bassist Matt Holt bij. Jared Artaud, die eerder al samen werkte met The Vacant Lots en Alan Vega, producete de plaat.
Hun muziek omschrijven ze zelf als intense ambient post-punk. Het Rolling Stone-magazine spreekt over 'a mix of psych-rock and shoegaze sounds to die for'.

Onrust is the solo project of Belgian self-taught electronic artist Wendy Mulder (1979). In the past eight years, she's has been successfully exploring analog synthesis, computer drumming and sampling. Self described as ‘Tantric Techno For The Restless’, her music combines old-school industrial influences such as Orphx, Esplendor Geométrico or Cosey Fanni Tutti with a distinct feminine subtlety and attention to detail and a tendency for groovy psychedelica.
