Clash Magazine called them "the sleaziest, most debauched, and downright addictive experiences in London's guitar underground right now", Louder Than War went with “the finest of filth”, the band itself sticks with "The offspring of a match made in hell between Fat White Family and Paranoid London". We agree to all of the above. Warmduscher is a group of miscreants known only by aliases. Clams Baker Jr., Lightnin’ Jack Everett, Salt Fingers, Quicksand and Dr. Withers aka Little Whiskers started the band as an impromptu project at a house party on New Year’s Eve 2014. Convinced by early praise for their whack type of rock and roll, they soon released their debut album ‘Khaki Tears’ in 2015 and became an underground hit in the UK.
2018 saw the release of follow-up ‘Whale City’, which reached Iggy Pop, who they can now call their biggest fan. In return for this, the band blessed him with immortality. Apart from providing the ideal records to spin at your crazy house parties, Warmduscher is known to – involuntarily - incite riots at their live shows. One tip? Come prepared to dance your asses off, scream some lyrics and act totally crazy.
''They sound like a mutant hybrid of Butthole Surfers and Funkadelic. This translates to a wild live show where guitars buzz like pneumatic drills over melodic lines varying from soul-pop to discordant mayhem.''
