American guitarist and singer-songwriter Lindsey Jordan started playing classical guitar at the age of 5. It was only ten years later that she started recording her own songs, in a project that she called Snail Mail. By then, Jordan had had the chance to become a well-known person in the Baltimore musical scene, which allowed her to form a band that helped her bring her music to the stage. After releasing her Habit EP at the age of 16, Jordan began touring the country, opening for bands like Girlpool and Waxahatchee, and playing headline shows herself. Jordan quickly built her reputation as one of America’s up-and-coming punk artists, which resulted in her participation in a New York Times’ round-table discussion on women in punk. All of this lead to the creation of her debut album Lush, that will be released on the 8th of June.
